DEMONSTRATIVES Created - Recently, TW Forensic Consulting has been asked to create demonstratives for multiple cases. After review of discovery, we will create exhibits. These are presented and prove to be far more valuable than verbal explanations of events.

CASE Update. For the past few months working for the defense and prosecution, the case themes have really focused on sexual assault and psychiatric issues.

  • Defendant with untreated psychiatric issues who threatened others due to her paranoia

  • Suicide in a psychiatric inpatient hospital due to staff not adhering to standards of care

  • Inappropriate discharge from emergency department resulting in suicide of psychiatric patient

  • Sexual assault of a minor

  • Sexual assault involving intoxicated individuals

REASONABLENESS of Charges. Excel spreadsheets are utilized to show all items billed in a case where a settlement will be made with the plaintiff. Charges are assessed for reasonableness to show that the settlement is fair and acceptable.
